Vijay Srinivasan

I have over 35 years of Experience in the travel & tourism industry. However, my connection with the hospitality and the travel industry began very early on in my life, as I grew up in the spectacular surrounding of Hotel Ashoka, which was next to Delhi’s diplomatic enclave.​I frequently visited the Hotel to see several shows, international & local and enjoyed exquisite dining experiences too. My visit to the Hotel was incomplete without visiting the kitchen and back areas to meet with chefs to understand more of their signature dishes and ingredients.

 

In fact, it was my love for exquisite food and taste that kindled a desire in me to learn more about the beautiful things of cooking that converted cooking into an art form.​To me the most important aspect of travelling has been the human connection, being local for a brief moment or a day and soaking in the sights and smells of a place. Each place carries a distinction of being different, even smelling different and giving an entirely new experience. This is what, I now offer to my clients travelling to the sub-continent, building these varied experiences and flavours for them. I love to travel & enjoy sampling, cuisines of various places, both street food and if my wallet affords it, then go for fine dining. 0ver 28 years in the travel trade have helped me not only in having a varied travel experience but most importantly building friendships and relationships with people from all over the world. ​Tripkonnect Journeys is a culmination of this 35+ years of experience. Our objective is to provide and ensure that every visitor who travels through us, can enjoy the local sights, and culture, and get inspired by his interactions with locals, their regional cuisine and our heritage.

Meena Srinivasan

Artist, Singer, an avid Gardener, and Sales & marketing professional for over 3 decades now. I Did B. Com Honours and then MBA in Marketing Management from Times school of Marketing. I am a Certified Life Skills trainer form ISTD A training Institute accredited and run by Ministry of HRD India- have conducted Innumerable training sessions for students, Corporate Executives and Entrepreneurs. Since 2020 I am also associated with Blend Global which is a learning and development company.

I have had a fantastic Career that has seen me invested in different industries with very Dynamic profile with organisations such as The Times of India, Maadhyam Advertising, Star TV, Discovery channel, JAIN TV, National Geographic, Select Hotels, Galaxy hotels, IILM University, Ansal University, DLF Hospitality Handling Sales & Marketing for their clubs, Paras Buildtech- as Head Club Operations for Their Ultra luxury Club Quartier. The highlight being the Hospitality Sector.

Two major Experiences of travel companies - Inspired Journeys Pvt. Ltd. and presently Tripkonnect Journeys Pvt Ltd, both Entrepreneurial ventures alongside my husband Initiated me into the Travel Trade.

This while I work out of my Studio Since 2014 aptly Named Prashanssa Art Studio (Prashanssa is a Hindi word which means Appreciation). My Preferred medium to paint is Water colour and Acrylic, & my collections are In India and across the globe.

Kshitij Srinivasan

i started my career in Luxury Retail sales in the Fashion Industry, honed my skills and knowledge by working with Louis Vuitton for a couple of years followed by my MBA in Melborune, Australia. I further strengthen my skills in the Luxury Real Estate Industry with stints with top real estate developers of the National Capital Region (New Delhi, India). 

My personal interest has always been travelling to far flung locations and destiantions across Europe, Asia And Australia, and Travel was always a source of happiness for me. Finally have found my footing in this space as the Director of Sales & Marketing at Tripkonnect Journeys.

As a Destination Mangement Company; our prodcut is Mother Nature itself and hence we now provide cloth bags as a replacement for any plastic. We also create & design our itenary to faciliate the use of responsible and environement friendly products.

100 % Recyclable Water Cans

We have made an effort inreducing the waste or pollution generated during any of our clients journeys across the subcontinent. We have replaced the plastic water bottles with 100% Recyclable canned Water which is also made from 70% recycled aluminium.

Sustainable Tourism

We now procure only vehicles that fall into the Bharat Stage 6 Emissions Norms, these are vehicles that are newly manufactured to follow these emmission norms and are overall much more cleaner for the environement.

A Note from our Managing Director

I began my career with Travel Corporation of India in 1985. From here I moved to Shikhar Travels, then to Bahwan Travel Agencies in Muscat, Oman, Inter Globe Holidays, Sita Incoming, Le Passage to India and my last assignment at Destinos India Gurus Pvt ltd as an Executive Director.

 

During my tenure at Le Passage to India, I was entrusted with creating a Luxury division in 2008 and handled Luxe India. Luxe India rose to be among the top 5 companies in India handling Luxury & distinguished and ultra-luxury clients.

During the COVID-19 break from work, I took part in many online activities, such as taking part in discussions on tourism, studying Sustainable Development from IBM Institute Berlin-Germany and undertook a course from GSTC France on Sustainable Tourism, Strengthening Business Resilience Through Strategic Sustainability (4C’s) Planning from The Long Run UK and lastly participated with the Oxford College, UK’s online School of Climate Change’s online workshop conducted by the Oxford Climate Society.

I have put to use my studies, while forming Tripkonnect Journeys, by adopting 3C’s, culture, community, and conservation as our guiding principles. We follow responsible tourism while designing and executing a client's itinerary. We maximize the use of vehicles, which are more fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly. In conservation, we discourage the use of plastic water bottles and provide our clients with Steel Bottles, which they can fill up at hotels. For backup, water cans are provided, when a refill of safe drinking water is not available.
